The new kia sorento is already convincing today

Its world premiere was actually scheduled for the Geneva Motor Show. Now the new Kia Sorento is presented entirely online. Either way, the Koreans’ large SUV makes a powerful appearance. As a flagship, there are many new technologies for Kia that are going into series production for the first time. In the future, these will also be incorporated into smaller models, but for the time being the large one will remain the high-tech flagship in SUV form. The market launch is currently scheduled for the third quarter of 2020 within Europe.

The new ford gt- breathtaking design and v6 mid-engine

We had to wait a long time and now the Ford GT is back. With a body driven by aerodynamics that looks breathtakingly ingenious to melt away. One can now argue about the drive, because unfortunately it loses two (important) cylinders. Nevertheless, the twin-turbo V6 should deliver over 600 hp to the rear-wheel drive supercar from Detroit. The new Ford GT will go into series production from 2016.

It will be offered in selected markets; we don’t know which ones! The mid-rear engine transmits the power via a seven-speed double clutch in the transaxle principle only to the rear axle; at least that fits with the predecessor. What we should think of the ecoboost-inspired 3.5-liter V6 twin turbo. So emotionally it will not be able to replace the 5.4-liter V8 and certainly not the 7.0-liter V8 of the Ford GT40. In terms of performance, it will certainly be better, so Ford also gives a wide speed range of the torque – but no exact data.

The new kia ceed gt with the same engine and optional dct

The new Kia Ceed GT is here. Visually clearly changed, but the centerpiece is the same as before. The sporty South Korean is powered by a 1.6-liter turbo gasoline engine with, as before, 204 hp. The torque is also the same as before at 265 Nm, but is now available earlier. Significant changes are the optional seven-stage DCT and the changes to the chassis.

Revised engine complies with Euro 6d-temp emissions standard

The torque of 265 Nm is now already at 1,500 to 4,500 tours (previously: from 1,750 rpm). As standard, the power is brought to the front axle via a 6-speed manual transmission, and the new Ceed GT can also be optionally equipped with a 7-speed DCT. With DCT comes the driving mode switch, which includes the levels Sport and Normal. The engine should respond better in sport and the steering assistance should be reduced. The steering as such, as with the Ceed itself, is almost 17 percent more direct than its predecessor.

The new ford focus st is to get 2.3-liter ecoboost

The Cologne-based company has already presented the new Ford Focus. The engineers in the Eifel are testing the sporty expansion stage. And that should, in the form of the new Ford Focus ST, even rely on the 2.3-liter ecoboost from the Focus RS. In addition, the alignment should be more pointed and ultimately sportier than its predecessor.

Is the new Ford Focus ST a little wilder?

The Ford Focus ST, despite its horsepower, was never a wild one. The last Focus ST was properly motorized with its 2.0-liter engine and 250 hp, but was by no means aggressively tuned. That was left to the Focus RS, so the Focus ST was designed more for everyday use. However, this should change with the next Focus ST. Rumors from the UK and the Eifel indicate a sporty direction for the new ST.

The new ford fiesta st with a three-cylinder engine

With the eighth generation of the Fiesta comes the third generation of the Fiesta ST. That celebrates its world premiere in Geneva, but was presented in advance in a video. The most striking innovation is the engine. The old 1.6-liter four-cylinder was thrown out and replaced with a 1.5-liter ecoboost three-cylinder. In terms of performance, however, the Fiesta ST clearly improves with 200 hp.

1.5-liter three-cylinder in the new Ford Fiesta ST

According to Ford, the 1.5-liter turbo engine is a new development from Ford Performance. The three-cylinder engine develops a maximum of 147 kW / 200 PS, i.e. as much as the ST200. The torque is 290 Nm and provides an acceleration of 6.7 seconds to 100 km / h. With all this data it is on the exact level of the ST200. However, he can still give him a lesson on CO2 emissions. Thanks to cylinder deactivation, this value is only 114 grams of CO2 per km. From its market launch in Germany in 2018, the Fiesta ST will not only be very customizable, but also available as three- and five-door models.

Seat ibiza with natural gas drive now available

At the premiere of the new Seat Ibiza, the Spaniards announced an alternative drive variant. Now the Seat Ibiza TGI, the variant with natural gas drive, is also available. Seat is also offering a future bonus of 2,000 euros.

Future bonus for all Seat CNG models

Seat currently also grants the future bonus for other CNG models, such as the Seat Mii or Seat Leon. This bonus is also independent of the environmental bonus for which you have to exchange your “old vehicle”. The CNG range at Seat is now being continuously expanded, with the Seat Arona also being available with natural gas drive in the coming year.

Seat fast-lane- new cars in just 21 days

You have finally decided on a new car, you want to order it and then you are literally overwhelmed by the waiting time. Seat is now bringing the Fast Lane Service to Germany precisely for this case. This shortens the waiting time to just 21 days.

Seat Fast-Lane Service is now also starting in Germany with two models

This program started in Austria at the beginning of 2017. Around 300 vehicles were sold faster under certain conditions. How can Seat provide this fast lane service where you only have to wait 21 days after ordering? In Austria, the offer consisted exclusively of the Seat Leon, which, in turn, was almost completely configured. Based on the most popular equipment features, the package was put together by Seat. That in turn makes production a lot easier.

Seat el-born gives the prospect of the first fully electric Spanish

The message about Seat el-born is confusing. Because, on the one hand, Seat is already talking a lot about series production, which, by the way, will take place in Zwickau, on the other hand, it is “just” a concept vehicle. In any case, the study shows how Seat envisions electromobility in the future. The model is already based on the MEB, the VW Group’s electrical construction kit.

Seat el-born should “probably” go into series production in 2020

The name of the study, which is unlikely to go into series production, refers to a trendy district in Barcelona. The vehicle is intended to bring together electrification, autonomous driving, shared mobility and connectivity. The Spaniards designed the model themselves in Barcelona, and it will later be built at the Volkswagen plant in Zwickau, which in future will only produce electric vehicles. Series production for the vehicle is expected to be in 2020.

Seat extends environmental bonus until March 2018

Anyone who has not yet been able to imagine whether the environmental bonus is worthwhile does not have to rush. Seat extends the environmental bonus, which is up to 8,000 euros for the Spanish, until March 31, 2018.

Exchange old diesel and collect a premium

Depending on the model, there are incentives worth between 1,750 and 8,000 euros, which should be even more enjoyable in connection with a more environmentally friendly new car. All customers who opt for a new Seat vehicle and hand in an old diesel are entitled to the bonus. It does not matter which brand the vehicle with a diesel engine is from. Only the emission standards Euro 1 to Euro 4 are elementary. The goodbye is then forever, because the old vehicles are scrapped.

Seat ateca xperience 2.0 tdi test

On the market for almost four years, it was time for a facelift. The Seat Ateca has quickly become one of the most successful models since its market launch in 2016. The revision is therefore visually rather subtle and takes place mainly in the technical area. A first driving report of the Seat Ateca Xperience.

The new Seat Ateca Xperience

The Experience version also replaces the old Xcellence. The chrome content is roughly on the same level, but the Ateca Xperience optically focuses more on an off-road look. Especially in combination with the new Dark Camouflage paintwork, which almost drowns it in the forest parking lot. Simply press the button and the bright (standard) LED headlights shine, so you can easily find it in the dark. The interior has also been upgraded. The latest infotainment with a diagonal of up to 9.2 inches moves in, but the classic rotating elements are retained, for example for the climate control and various other buttons. More about this in our video driving report.
