As a flagship, there are many new technologies for Kia that are going into series production for the first time. In the future, these will also be incorporated into smaller models, but for the time being the large one will remain the high-tech flagship in SUV form. The market launch is currently scheduled for the third quarter of 2020 within Europe.

What we should think of the ecoboost-inspired 3.5-liter V6 twin turbo. So emotionally it will not be able to replace the 5.4-liter V8 and certainly not the 7.0-liter V8 of the Ford GT40. In terms of performance, it will certainly be better, so Ford also gives a wide speed range of the torque – but no exact data.

The new Kia Ceed GT is here. Visually clearly changed, but the centerpiece is the same as before. The sporty South Korean is powered by a 1.6-liter turbo gasoline engine with, as before, 204 hp. The torque of 265 Nm is now already at 1,500 to 4,500 tours (previously: from 1,750 rpm). As standard, the power is brought to the front axle via a 6-speed manual transmission, and the new Ceed GT can also be optionally equipped with a 7-speed DCT. With DCT comes the driving mode switch, which includes the levels Sport and Normal. The engine should respond better in sport and the steering assistance should be reduced. The steering as such, as with the Ceed itself, is almost 17 percent more direct than its predecessor.

The Ford Focus ST, despite its horsepower, was never a wild one. The last Focus ST was properly motorized with its 2.0-liter engine and 250 hp, but was by no means aggressively tuned. That was left to the Focus RS, so the Focus ST was designed more for everyday use. However, this should change with the next Focus ST. Rumors from the UK and the Eifel indicate a sporty direction for the new ST.

From its market launch in Germany in 2018, the Fiesta ST will not only be very customizable, but also available as three- and five-door models.
